About The Position
East Liverpool City Hospital, a member of the Prime Healthcare Foundation, is an award-winning community hospital that has been serving residents of the tristate region since 1905. The hospital has 152 licensed beds and more than 500 employees, averaging 31,000 Emergency Department visits annually. Its medical staff includes over 160 physicians and 21 resident physicians. East Liverpool City Hospital provides 24/7 emergency services, general surgery, medical stabilization for substance abuse, behavioral health for adults over 55, and is the only cardiac rehabilitation program in Columbiana County. The Human Resources Manager will join a team dedicated to the core values of quality, compassion, and community.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of relevant experience required.
- At least 2 Years of Healthcare Experience required.
- Must be familiar with the hospital organization; functions of various departments; pay practices and techniques, review techniques; training methods.
- Familiar with the labor market for recruitment and understanding of accreditation standards.
- Knowledge of state and federal wage and hour laws required.

Responsibilities
- Formulate and manages programs relative to selection, training, promotion, and other employer/employee relationships.
- Interviews job applicants; develops personnel record forms; adjust disputes and grievances and recommends necessary disciplinary actions; analyzes, classifies and evaluates jobs.
- Administers employee welfare and recreation services, and serves as an adviser to executive staff in personnel implications of policies, programs, and proposed organization changes.
