About The Position

Alameda Electrical Distributors & California Service Tool is seeking a full-time Human Resources Manager based in Hayward, CA. In this role, you’ll partner with leadership, influence strategy, and help shape the employee experience across a growing organization. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of HR management experience
  • Strong knowledge of California employment law and HR compliance
  • Experience handling employee relations, investigations, and risk management
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Proven ability to drive change management initiatives and manage projects and programs that support business and HR priorities
  • Proficiency with HRIS and talent management systems, or the ability to quickly learn

Nice To Haves

  • HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead all HR operations including employee relations, compliance, talent acquisition, and performance management
  • Partner with executive leadership to execute HR strategy, including workforce planning, retention, and succession planning
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for exempt, professional, and leadership roles
  • Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters, investigations, accommodations, and terminations
  • Analyze compensation and benefits trends; recommend competitive pay and incentive programs
  • Develop and implement training and development initiatives to support employee growth
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal, California, and local employment laws
  • Maintain HR policies, procedures, and audit-ready practices
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and leadership on HR-related matters
