Reporting to the Senior Manager, Human Resources, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for advising, coaching, and supporting leaders in all aspects of human resource management, including talent acquisition and retention, employee and labour relations, performance management, attendance management, disability and return-to-work processes, and policy interpretation and development. This role operates with a high degree of independence and requires strong critical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to manage complex and sensitive issues with professionalism and discretion. The Human Resources Manager will: Model the organization’s mission, vision, and values, consistently representing Covenant professionally and positively Collaborate effectively as a professional team player, supporting the achievement of Covenant’s mission, vision, and values Engage and mobilize leaders and teams to fulfill Covenant’s mission, vision, values, and strategic objectives Role Overview The Human Resources Manager will lead the HR team and deliver comprehensive HR services across all sites. The role will build a strong HR function and serve as a trusted advisor to leaders in fostering engaged, high-performing teams. This role requires a strong foundation in employee and labour relations, experience working within unionized environments, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic and often complex workplace.
