National Beef Leathers of St. Joseph, Missouri, is looking for a qualified professional to join our team as Human Resources Manager. Requirements
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited university
- 5 plus years of Human Resources experience with some managerial experience
- Labor relations experience
- Management development expertise
- Knowledge of employment and labor laws
- Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Successfully complete the background check
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older

Nice To Haves
- Master's degree in Human Resources or Business related field preferred
- UKG Dimensions and/or Kronos Workforce Central experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Plans, organizes and controls all activities of the site's Human Resources Department
- Plays a key role in business processes to include providing support and input for the site's long-term strategic plan and managing employee crewing and resource planning across the site
- Directs, guides, and coordinates all Human Resource Programs, Policies and Practices
- Assists in ensuring a safe work environment for all employees
- Develops department goals, objectives and systems in order to meet business objectives and ensure governmental compliance
- Leads corporate Human Resources initiatives such as the organizational health process, succession planning, leadership training, performance review and talent review
- Creates an effective employee and labor relations environment that enables the site to attain its business objectives
- Provides advice and coaching to Senior Leaders, managers and employees on all matters related to employee and organizational development
- Provides generalist and strategic human resources leadership at their respective plant
- Deals with employee relations issues and work with employees and union leaders on resolutions
- Payroll over-site for facility
