About The Position

This position is responsible for supporting the implementation of Human Resources (HR) policies and programs, while performing a variety of highly professional, technical and analytical activities in support of the human resource management programs, including recruitment and selection, classification, and job evaluation, compensation, employee relations, performance appraisal, benefits, affirmative action and employee moral/motivation; and performs related work assigned. Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the company HR function and performance. Audit, verify and process payroll uploading tips, commissions, gratuities into Paycom payroll. Develop progressive and proactive compensation and benefits programs to provide motivation, incentives and rewards for effective performance and to provide programs which utilize an employee and the company's partnership for the short and long-range health and welfare protection of the employees. Develop programs to allow Speed Vegas to embrace applicants and employees of all backgrounds and to permit the full development and performance of all employees. Develop HR planning models to identify competency, knowledge and talent gaps and develop specific programs for the filling of the gaps. Areas of activity will include talent management through proper succession planning programs for key contributor and management positions, training and development programs for preparing employees for more significant responsibilities and general business development programs. Continually assess the competitiveness of all programs and practices against the relevant comparable companies, industries and markets. Develop appropriate policies and programs for effective management of the people resources of the company. Included in this area but not limited only to the following would be programs for employee relations, affirmative action, sexual harassment, employee complaints, external education and career development. Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce HR policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the company. Manage the HR information systems database and necessary reports for critical analyses of the HR function and the people resources of the company. Provide technical advice and knowledge to others within the HR discipline. Manage other areas such as employee communication, employee safety and health and community relations. Manage the budget and other financial measures of the HR Department. Continue improving the programs, policies, practices and processes associated with meeting the strategic and operational people issues of the organization. Evaluation of the HR division structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group as well as providing individuals with professional and personal growth with emphasis on opportunities (where possible) for individuals. Manage confidential information. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.
  • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Calculators, desktop computers, scanners, copiers, fax and phone systems.
  • Knowledge and experience with the performance of exotic cars and racing.

  • Bachelor’s degree REQUIRED
  • 5 or more years’ related experience and/or training in Paycom or other similar online payroll/HRIS services
  • 5 or more years’ related experience and/or training in human resource compliance
  • Diverse experiences in a range of Human Resources areas of responsibility.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • PHR or SPHR preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
