About The Position

The Human Resources Manager will oversee various HR functions including recruitment, training and development, performance management, employee relations, employment law and compliance, compensation and benefits administration, and payroll & HR systems. Responsibilities include managing the staffing process, developing training materials, creating compensation strategies, administering benefits, investigating employee issues, maintaining organizational charts, partnering with management on HR goals, conducting performance and salary reviews, designing retention strategies, implementing departmental goals, developing the Employee Handbook, ensuring compliance with regulations, supporting all company departments, and developing employee recognition programs. Travel requirements are less than 5%.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree in human resources related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience in related field with background in recruiting
  • Strong understanding of Federal, State and local labor regulations affecting the industry and their effects on the company
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Willingness to multi-task and work a flexible schedule as needed

Nice To Haves

  • PHR/SPHR/SHRM certifications desired

Responsibilities

  • Manage staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding
  • Ensure job descriptions are current and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations
  • Develop training materials and performance management programs to ensure employees understand and have resources to complete their job responsibilities
  • Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date
  • Benefits administration including work compensation, unemployment, and CO FAMLI claims
  • Investigates employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution
  • Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team
  • Maintain company organization charts and employee directory
  • Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives
  • Conduct performance and salary reviews
  • Design and implement employee retention strategies
  • Implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
  • Develop/maintain Employee Handbook and ensure all company policies are applied consistently
  • Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations
  • Supports every Hansen department and project, efficiently and effectively, furthering the company’s values.
  • Develop and maintain employee recognition program
  • Perform additional assignments as requested/needed.
