Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and lead the team to successfully manage processes to meet deadlines and serve the coworker population.
  • 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in distribution/warehouse environments preferred
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations applicable to warehouse operations
  • Experience managing HR functions across multiple locations
  • Strong conflict resolution and employee relations skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Understanding of safety protocols specific to warehouse environments
  • Proven track record of implementing HR initiatives
  • Ability to travel between sites on a regular basis
  • Experience with high-volume staffing and seasonal workforce planning

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish) with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across diverse workforces
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification
  • Prior knowledge of DOT regulations

Responsibilities

  • Manage all HR functions for two distribution center sites, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits, payroll/timekeeping, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding
  • Implement HR strategies aligned with company goals and regulatory requirements
  • Partner with site leadership to address workforce planning, staffing needs, and organizational development
  • Oversee compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs for warehouse staff
  • Manage employee conflicts and disciplinary processes when necessary
  • Coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and safety awareness
  • Maintain accurate HR records
  • Analyze turnover trends and implement retention strategies
  • Support managers with performance evaluation processes and talent development
  • Serve as the primary liaison between corporate HR and distribution center personnel
  • Oversee HR Assistant position
