About The Position

As a direct report to the Chief Business & People Officer, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating human resources activities for the organization. This position is expected to be onsite in Cape Canaveral, with some hybrid work permitted.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in lieu of education
  • 5+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role
  • 3+ Years of management, supervisor, or other demonstrated leadership experience
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, production methods, coordination of people and resources, and leadership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily and, if requested, reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of their job, absent undue hardship.

Nice To Haves

  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification a plus.
  • Aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or similar compliance-oriented industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the HR executive on strategic HR planning as well as with functional leaders on forecasting future staffing needs.
  • Serve as a mediator for conflict resolution, handle employee complaints, and oversee disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure the company adheres to national, state, and local employment laws, reducing legal and reputational risks.
  • Manage health insurance, and annual benefits administration to ensure competitive packages.
  • Oversee performance management frameworks, evaluations, and training programs.
  • Advise leadership on workforce strategies and develop engagement initiatives to improve employee morale and retention.
  • Other duties as assigned
