About The Position

The Human Resources Manager for the North Little Rock, Arkansas facility in the Earthmoving Division serves as the HR Business Partner to Operations and leads the local HR team. Together with the team, they align people strategies with business objectives to attract, motivate and retain employees and provide for a positive Caterpillar experience which will drive organizational performance. This role provides leadership across core HR disciplines including employee relations, talent management, workforce planning, compliance, and organizational effectiveness. In partnership with the facility manager and leadership team, he/she will lead change efforts aligned to the business strategy and culture transformation initiatives. The position requires strong consulting capability, data‑driven decision making, and the ability to influence at multiple organizational levels. The Earthmoving division is responsible for the products at the core of Caterpillar including Medium Tractor Products, Motor Graders, Medium Wheel Loaders, and Paving products, which includes the machines upon which our company was founded. Earthmoving works collaboratively as one team to grow services and create solutions superior to the competition while sharing a purpose to help our customers build a better world.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted HR Business Partner to leaders, providing guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategies.
  • Lead employee relations activities, including issue resolution, investigations, performance management, and engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, HR policies, and labor regulations, mitigating organizational risk.
  • Drive talent management processes including succession planning, development planning, and leadership capability building.
  • Analyze HR and workforce data to provide insight‑driven recommendations that support business outcomes.
  • Lead and support change management initiatives, assessing people impacts and enabling successful adoption.
