Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations and investigations.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and best practices including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, and multi-state employment regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems such as Paycom, ADP, or BambooHR.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Previous leadership or team management experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting operational or multi-location environments preferred.
  • Experience working within Paycom is a plus.
  • Bilingual skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support one HR Generalist while overseeing HR operations for approximately 15 company office locations nationwide.
  • Partner with operational leaders to support day-to-day employee needs including onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, leave administration, and policy guidance.
  • Act as a strategic HR partner to leadership teams within assigned regions.
  • Lead employee relations matters, investigations, conflict resolution, and performance-related discussions while ensuring consistency and compliance.
  • Support company-wide HR initiatives including Learning & Development, Internal Mobility Programs, and Compensation projects in partnership with the current HR Manager.
  • Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS system and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, open enrollment, and serve as a liaison between employees and benefits providers.
  • Support managers with coaching, corrective actions, and employee development initiatives.
  • Assist with the implementation and communication of HR policies, procedures, and company initiatives.
  • Track and report HR metrics including turnover, headcount, staffing trends, and employee engagement.
  • Ensure confidential handling of sensitive employee information and HR documentation.
  • Support audits, compliance initiatives, and maintain accurate HR records and reporting.
  • Travel approximately 15–20% as needed to support regional office locations and business initiatives.
