About The Position

ENSTAR is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to join their team. This role is a key partner to leadership, supporting employee relations, compliance, talent management, and HR operations. The position involves partnering with leadership to navigate employee relations, performance management, and workplace challenges, coaching managers and employees to foster a respectful, high-performing culture, and leading full-cycle recruitment and retention strategies. The role also ensures compliance with employment law and administers regulated programs (Drug & Alcohol Program), oversees HR systems, data integrity, and reporting analytics, and develops and refines HR policies, processes, and best practices. Additionally, the HR Manager will deliver actionable HR insights to support business decisions, lead training initiatives and support leadership development programs, and contribute to labor relations efforts, including union collaboration and negotiations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressively responsible work experience, including leadership responsibility.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Good working knowledge of various personal computer business software applications presently used by ENSTAR. Ability to learn new systems or software packages as necessary.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with Collective Bargaining Agreements preferred.
  • Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.
  • Collaborative and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
