About The Position

Little Falls Health Services is seeking a motivated Human Resources Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting HR operations in a healthcare setting. This internship is made possible through funding from the Minnesota Department of Health and administered by the Minnesota Hospital Foundation. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn the fundamentals of Human Resources while supporting a mission-driven healthcare organization. You’ll gain exposure to key HR functions that directly impact employees and residents.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a degree program (HR, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Comfortable with confidentiality and professionalism
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office preferred)
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute

Responsibilities

  • Help maintain employee records and HR documentation
  • Assist with recruitment and hiring processes
  • Support new hire onboarding and orientation preparation
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives
  • Learn about compliance requirements in healthcare HR
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team
