About The Position

The Human Resources Intern position at PCL Construction Services, Inc. in Bellevue, Washington, offers an opportunity to grow your career with supportive mentorship. Requirements

  • Pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, Psychology or a related discipline.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and stated objectives while managing shifting priorities.
  • Detail oriented and thorough.
  • Works well as part of a team and with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and ability to learn other software programs.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US PCL will not sponsor an employment visa (e.g. H1-B, etc.) for this position.
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Available to work in Bellevue, WA full-time in the summer and/or part-time during the school year.

Responsibilities

  • Get exposure to the various areas of Human Resources including recruitment, workforce diversity, training, professional development, health & wellness, and HR special projects and general administrative functions
  • Assist with research, coordination and administration of Human Resources programs and initiatives
  • Support the implementation of corporate and regional initiatives
  • Assist the HR team with planning and executing Seattle District initiatives
  • Compose and prepare confidential correspondence, reports, and other documentation
  • Undertake research projects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
