About The Position

The Human Resources Intern will support the Human Resources team with day-to-day activities with a primary focus on recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees. This internship provides hands-on experience in a professional HR environment and exposure to core HR functions while contributing to meaningful projects that support the organization’s workforce needs.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

• High school diploma
• Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Human resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field

Responsibilities

• Assist with the recruiting process, including posting job openings, reviewing applications and coordinating interviews.
• Schedule and participate in candidate interviews, including phone screens and in-person or virtual interviews.
• Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing new hire paperwork, orientation materials, and training schedules.
• Maintain and update applicant tracking systems and employee records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Communicate with candidates regarding interview schedules, next steps, and onboarding requirements.
• Assist with background checks, pre-employment screenings, and employment verifications.
• Help with hiring events, job fairs, and campus recruiting initiatives as needed.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team and assist with special projects.
• Be familiar and compliant with the systems, procedures and documentation of the Crown Quality System and how it relates to this position and Crown quality objectives.
