About The Position

The Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst II is responsible for maintaining the integrity, reliability, and effectiveness of the organization’s Human Capital Management (HCM) platform. This role ensures HR systems and applications meet the operational needs, compliance requirements, and strategic objectives of the HR function and the broader business. Serves as a subject matter expert for multiple HCM modules and plays a key role in system enhancements, integrations, and user adoption.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting HR business systems.
  • Experience across the full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, and post‑implementation support.
  • Experience with Dayforce HCM or a comparable HCM platform.
  • Strong understanding of core HR processes, including payroll, talent management, and the employee data lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of system integrations, including design, build, and testing.
  • Proven ability to create training materials, user documentation, and process flow diagrams.
  • Ability to proactively identify system or process issues and recommend practical, business‑focused solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience applying qualitative and quantitative data analysis principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation with business stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective time management with a demonstrated ability to meet established SLAs and deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of HRIS data and system configurations.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for two or more modules within the HCM platform.
  • Support global HRIS standards and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • Lead and participate in requirements engineering, functional design, and data mapping for the HCM platform.
  • Conduct working sessions with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, including process workflows, data mappings, and integration and business rules.
  • Collaborate with HRIS team members to plan, configure, customize, and test system enhancements, upgrades, new modules, and integrations.
  • Participate in and occasionally lead HRIS‑related projects across the system lifecycle.
  • Support system implementations through testing, deployment, and post‑implementation stabilization.
  • Partner with HR staff and organizational leadership to define short‑ and long‑term system needs and objectives.
  • Prepare and present system recommendations to HR and business leaders in support of organizational goals.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive functional documentation, including user guides and manuals, configuration and process documentation, and training materials and system demonstrations.
  • Drive user adoption and effective utilization of HR systems through training and support.
  • Provide Tier 2 HRIS support to internal users, resolving technical issues promptly and professionally.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend system or process improvements to enhance user experience and efficiency.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
