The purpose of this position is to undertake a wide range of HR tasks with the goal of ensuring the HR department's operations run smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the City of McAllen. The HR Generalist acts as a first point of contact for employees' queries on HR-related matters. This job works under close to general supervision according to set procedures but determines how or when to complete tasks.
