Applicants must be within driving distance to our Alpharetta, GA office to be considered for this role and have the ability to commute to the office a minimum of three days per week.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of HR experience working across the portfolio of HR disciplines.
  • Well-established planning and organizational skills; able to multi-task.
  • Intellectual rigor with room for growth.
  • Strong analytical skills and numeracy.
  • Personal credibility, discretion, integrity and maturity.
  • Ability to effectively build relationships in a matrix environment.

  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Workday is a plus.
  • PHR, or SHRM-CP preferred

Responsibilities

  • Colleague liaison for minor HR matters on a variety of HR topics including policy guidance and interpretation, compensation, benefits and other related HR issues, and escalating concerns to appropriate HR counterparts.
  • Provide administrative support and documentation collection related to day-to-day performance guidance to management (including coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Create performance coaching plans with oversight from HR Business Partners and provide administrative support to managers to implement a successful coaching plan.
  • Learn and maintain working knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Partners with the Employee Relations department as needed/required.
  • Visit site locations as needed to build relationships with leaders and employees.
  • Cross-train with payroll and benefit coordinator job duties.
  • Learn the industry and business needs to support developmental solutions and training needs.
  • Work closely with colleagues to assist in HRBP strategies relating to work relationships, morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Participate in developing and implementing HR strategies and activities that foster growth, culture, innovation, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Assist with the performance review process, HRBP administrative support, and communication strategies to ensure goal setting and formalized feedback are completed for all colleagues on a timely basis.
  • Assist with the implementation of a sustainable colleague engagement strategy.
  • Compiles data for presentation and communication to leaders and HR team members on employee engagement survey recommendations and actions.
  • Assist in the successful execution of projects allowing the organization to achieve strategic business goals and operational objectives.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to promote diversity awareness in hiring practices.
  • Cultivate a positive work environment to enable a motivated, engaged workforce and helps to optimize colleague retention through effective, proactive human resource programs and communications.
  • Build colleague trust through open communication, transparency, and HRBP support.
  • Perform additional responsibilities pertaining to this position as necessary.
