About The Position

Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with a respected and long-standing non-profit organization in Little Rock, AR to identify an experienced Human Resources Generalist for a temporary-to-permanent opportunity . This position supports a regional employee group of approximately 400 individuals and plays a key role in maintaining a positive, compliant, and supportive work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience with a focus on employee relations and compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience managing investigations and administering FMLA leave.
  • Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
  • Proficiency with Paycom HRIS and timekeeping systems; high attention to detail in maintaining records and employee data.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage employee relations activities, including investigations, coaching, documentation, and resolution of workplace concerns.
  • Ensure all personnel actions and employee documentation are completed accurately and in compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.
  • Maintain and update employee time, personal, and pay records using Paycom HRIS, including adjustments to timecards and job-related details.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for FMLA administration, overseeing the entire leave process—from employee notification and documentation to coordination with managers and legal compliance.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to promote engagement and consistency.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while managing sensitive information.
