About The Position

We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Generalist to join our dynamic team in Phoenix, AZ. This role will support employees across multiple U.S. geographical regions, with a strong focus on California employment practices. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in multi-state HR compliance, employee relations, and day-to-day HR operations. Bilingual candidates (Spanish/English) are strongly preferred.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Strong working knowledge of California labor and employment laws is required.
  • Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screen and criminal background check.
  • Be able to provide valid documentation to provide proof of citizenship in accordance with I-9 document.
  • Display a professional and courteous attitude.
  • Report to work at the designated start time.
  • Willing to travel to various work sites if required (rarely occurs).
  • Willing to work overtime, nights and weekends when necessary.
  • Strictly adhere to safety requirements and procedures and comply with the Company’s “Stop Work” policy.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designation operations and production areas as directed.
  • Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-worker and Supervisor with other duties as required.
  • Work will be performed in an office, where a computer and office equipment may be used.
  • Regularly required to sit reach, stand, and often uses repetitive hand motions.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15lbs.
  • Requires the visual ability to perform detailed work at close distances (computer screens).
  • This job regularly requires verbal communication of detailed information to others either by phone or in person.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees in assigned regions, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Support and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, with a strong emphasis on California employment law.
  • Supports employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution in collaboration with HR leadership.
  • Assist with the implementation and administration of HR initiatives, including performance management, employee engagement, and training programs.
  • Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to support recruitment efforts and onboarding processes across regions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system.
  • Provide support for benefits administration, leaves of absence, and workers’ compensation as needed.
