About The Position

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing support and expertise with the Human Resources Information System and all Human Resources functions. This role involves developing, maintaining, and generating reports, as well as developing and maintaining queries for the organization and for state and federal regulatory requirements, benefits, and administrative functions. The Generalist will manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively to accomplish responsibilities, goals, projects, and deadlines. They will provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers and be a team player with the capability to learn the functionality of a variety of databases. Additionally, the role includes assisting with fringe benefit organization and processing as directed, maintaining a high level of computer competency and efficiency, and assisting with filing and other administrative tasks when needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of self-motivation
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make independent administrative decisions within established guidelines
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels both within and outside the organization
  • Valid driver's license required

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of employment laws and human resources practices preferred
