About The Position

Human Resources Generalist (HR Generalist) Transitions Healthcare Allen's Cove is currently seeking a well-rounded Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The Human Resources Generalist plays an important role in supporting our employees and leadership team while helping ensure effective and compliant HR practices throughout the facility. This position is responsible for a broad range of human resources functions, including recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, workers' compensation, compliance, and employee record maintenance. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Management, or a related field and one to three years of related Human Resources experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to effectively support employees and coach managers through workplace issues.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general HR technology.

Nice To Haves

  • Active involvement with Human Resources professional organizations or community networks preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including candidate screening, interviewing, selection support, and maintenance of appropriate recruitment records.
  • Coordinate the new-hire and onboarding process and ensure required documentation is completed accurately and timely.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
  • Assist leadership with conflict resolution, performance management, and the company's progressive disciplinary process.
  • Manage FMLA and other applicable leave processes and documentation in accordance with federal and state requirements.
  • Administer workers' compensation processes, including claims management, injury reporting, risk management, and related safety initiatives.
  • Maintain and monitor OSHA-required records and documentation.
  • Conduct exit interviews and communicate relevant feedback and trends to leadership.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential personnel and medical files.
  • Support benefits administration and assist employees with benefits-related questions and processes.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality when working with employee, applicant, and organizational information.
  • Perform other Human Resources duties and projects as assigned.
