About The Position

Logan Health is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and leaders across the organization. This role is designed for an HR professional who thrives on variety, problem-solving, employee support, and being a go-to person for HR inquiries. While based in the Logan Health Whitefish HR office, the HR partnership will extend across the entire Logan Health system, including Whitefish, Kalispell, the Hi-Line, and remote locations, ensuring consistent and responsive HR support. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; or
  • At least two years of Human Resources experience; or
  • At least three years of experience in a customer support role within a high-volume work environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Ability to work well independently while also being a collaborative member of a team.
  • Comfortable learning and using HR systems, Microsoft Office, and other technology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to employees and leaders across the Logan Health system.
  • Support leaves of absence and workplace accommodations, helping employees understand processes and next steps.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, programs, and processes.
  • Support a variety of HR activities, including job descriptions, employment and license verifications, background screening, compliance, and employee exit interviews.
  • Help employees navigate HR systems, self-service tools, and resources.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and other HR teams to resolve employee questions and provide consistent, responsive support.
  • Maintain accurate HR information and assist with audits, reporting, and data tracking.
  • Help develop and maintain HR procedures and identify opportunities to improve processes and the employee experience.
  • Recognize when issues require additional expertise and appropriately connect employees and leaders with the right HR resource.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and care.
