VIVO is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to support the full employee lifecycle across our organization. In this role, you'll be a trusted point of contact for employees and managers, helping to build a positive workplace culture while ensuring HR processes run smoothly and in compliance with applicable regulations. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) OR 2+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar HR support role
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting: posting jobs, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and supporting onboarding
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions related to benefits, policies, and workplace concerns
  • Administer and maintain employee benefits programs, including open enrollment support
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
  • Support performance management processes, including reviews and documentation
  • Assist with the development and enforcement of HR policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Help coordinate training and development initiatives
  • Support employee engagement and retention efforts, including events and recognition programs
  • Assist with investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes as needed
  • Process payroll-related documentation and coordinate with payroll/finance as needed
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics for leadership review
