About The Position

The Human Resources Generalist will run lead and support the full spectrum of Human Resources functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, compliance, team member relations, benefits administration, safety, and culture blueprinting. As a trusted advisor and critical liaison, this role will serve as an accessible presence and HR point-of-contact for team members. This role will serve as a connection point for people and business.

Requirements

  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • To conform to U.S. export control regulations, you should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.
  • Ability to speak and understand basic safety and manufacturing instructions.
  • Ability to add and subtract up to four place decimals.
  • Ability to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full-cycle talent acquisition process, running each requisition as a front-to-back project, including, but not limited to: Requisition planning and strategizing, Job posting, sourcing, screening, and interviewing, Offer administration and negotiation, Pre-employment verification and administration.
  • Execute to and continuously improve new hire onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to understand the knowledge, skills, abilities, competencies, and culture alignment required for each opening and translate into actionable strategy.
  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments, including but not limited to: safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the Regional Human Resources Manager.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations when necessary.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Champion a culture and programs that create a culture where each individual feels seen, valued, and connected to their team and mission.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute on Team Member recognition programs, events, appreciation meals, and morale-building activities.
  • Partner with leadership on employee engagement strategies and support translating feedback into actionable programs, actions, etc.
  • Administer Workers' Compensation claims, maintain OSHA logs, and ensure Affirmative Action/EEO regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and pleasant work environment.
  • Provide auxiliary support in maintaining PPE and consumable office supplies as needed.
  • Uphold the company core values.
