About The Position

We're seeking a proactive, detail-oriented HR Generalist to play a key role in supporting smooth HR operations and driving organizational effectiveness. Reporting directly to the HR Director, this role will focus on payroll administration, HR reporting and analytics, onboarding, employee engagement, and compliance. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-4 years of HR support experience preferred.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with HRIS and benefits platforms (iSolved, Principal, Horizon) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Word).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; able to prioritize competing tasks effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating patience, tact, respect, and integrity.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Experience working with diverse employee demographics and across all organizational levels.
  • Reliable transportation required (to commute between Fairfield and Byram locations).

Responsibilities

  • Accurately process weekly payroll, including timecard review, vacation/sick/holiday tracking, and deductions using the iSolved and MP-HR iSolved platforms.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics for leadership (e.g., affirmative action reports, monthly President's letter, headcount analysis).
  • Post job ads, source resumes, schedule interviews, and coordinating candidate communications between HR Director and Hiring Managers.
  • Assist with open enrollment, employee benefits changes, and respond to inquiries.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Help plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, company events, and recognition activities (e.g., birthday breakfasts).
  • Ensure HR policies and practices align with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Represent the company at occasional career fairs and networking events.
  • Provide administrative support and assist with special projects or other duties as assigned.
