About The Position

Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, the HR Generalist is responsible for supporting the administration, execution and continuous improvement of Human Resources programs, processes and employee lifecycle activities. This role provides operational and programmatic support across multiple HR disciplines, ensuring the effective delivery of services while maintaining compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policies. This position serves as the primary administrator for leave of absence and workplace accommodation programs and is responsible for managing related case activities, vendor coordination, compliance requirements and employee support. This role also owns the monthly Executive Welcome program, supports workforce transition activities including separations, reductions in force and unemployment claims administration, and contributes to employee engagement initiatives, compliance reviews, audits and process improvement efforts. Additionally, this position serves as a key backup resource for critical HR Operations functions, including new hire onboarding, employee data entry and maintenance, employee terminations, HR inbox management, compliance processes and other day-to-day HR operational responsibilities. This role also assists with acquisition integrations, employee transitions, reporting and other special projects as business needs evolve.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent combination of years of experience with High School Diploma/ GED)
  • 3+ years’ progressive Human Resources experience supporting a broad range of HR functions, such as HR Operations, employee relations, onboarding, employee engagement, compliance, leave administration or employee lifecycle programs
  • Prior experience partnering with employees, managers, vendors and cross-functional business partners to deliver effective HR services and programs
  • Demonstratable ability to interpret policies, exercise sound judgment and effectively communicate with employees, leaders and external partners
  • Solid skills and experience in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of individuals both internal and external to the organization
  • Strong organizational, project management and follow-through skills, with a proven ability to independently manage programs, processes and assignments from inception through completion
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships across the organization
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce, analyze and trend applicable reporting
  • Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities coupled with sound judgment
  • Strong time management skills; Effective at working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years’ direct experience administering leave of absence programs and workplace accommodations preferred
  • Proficiency with UKG HRIS preferred
