About The Position
A manufacturing company is seeking a Human Resources Generalist for a new plant opening in Grand Prairie, Texas. This role involves managing all phases of human resources, with an initial focus on recruiting and onboarding skilled workers for welding, assembly, and finishing of steel structures. The company offers excellent compensation and benefits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2-3 years of experience in human resources, especially in a manufacturing environment.
- Skills in recruitment, benefits, employee relations, and other aspects of human resources.
- Experience in developing human resource reports for management analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal, computer, and writing skills.
- Must be very comfortable with MSOffice, Teams, Excel, etc.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for recruitment, including interviews and testing for all employees – exempt and non-exempt.
- Handle employee benefits and employee relations.
- Work with HR software that tracks employee statistics, hires, transfers, terminations, etc.
- Work on special projects that ensure compliance with all employment-related federal, state, and local government laws.
