About The Position

LandSolutions is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to support our growing People & Culture and Health & Safety programs across Canada and the United States. This role focuses on safety program administration, training coordination, and HR program support. The successful candidate will help ensure safety and compliance programs run smoothly by maintaining documentation, tracking training, supporting audits, and helping coordinate mandatory training and onboarding. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys working with systems, organizing information, and supporting structured programs that keep workers safe, compliant, and supported. The position also contributes to improving workflows across safety and people programs by maintaining consistent processes, documentation, and tracking tools.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in HR, Occupational Health & Safety, Adult Education, or related field
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience (HR, Safety, L&D, or program coordination)
  • Experience with HRIS/LMS systems (UKG is an asset)
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and reporting skills
  • Comfortable working with systems, data tracking, and process improvement

Responsibilities

  • Provide coordination and administrative support for People & Culture initiatives
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and program documentation
  • Maintain templates, tracking tools, and organized records
  • Support internal communications related to programs
  • Support documentation and improvement of HR, Safety, and Learning processes and workflows.
  • Assist in implementing workflow automation within systems such as UKG, LMS platforms, and SharePoint.
  • Support development of templates, checklists, and standardized tools that strengthen program delivery.
  • Administer LMS and maintain training records
  • Coordinate onboarding and mandatory training programs
  • Support development of training materials (eLearning, job aids, assessments)
  • Track completion and report on training progress and effectiveness
  • Track completion of Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs), training and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain safety documentation across UKG, SharePoint, and client portals (e.g., ISNetworld)
  • Support audits, reporting, and compliance reviews
  • Identify and escalate gaps, overdue items, or risks
