About The Position

The Human Resources Generalist will play a key role in supporting the full employee lifecycle within a dynamic, high-growth aerospace manufacturing environment. This individual will partner cross-functionally with leadership and operations to ensure effective HR operations, compliance, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, a strong understanding of California employment law, and the ability to balance administrative execution with employee-facing support. This role requires discretion, sound judgment, and the ability to operate both independently and collaboratively in a production-driven setting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3–5 years of progressive experience in an HR Generalist or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations and California employment law
  • Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to evolving business priorities and organizational structures
  • Experience partnering closely with leadership in a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting manufacturing, aerospace, or defense environments is a plus
  • Experience with UKG Ready
  • Experience supporting organizational change, including growth initiatives, restructuring, or integration efforts

Responsibilities

  • Administer end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire orientation and exit interviews
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within HRIS systems
  • Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and employee inquiries
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions related to HR policies, procedures, and programs
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on employment law, company policies, and HR best practices
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures
  • Participate in employee relations matters, including workplace investigations and conflict resolution
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state (California), and local employment laws and regulations
  • Generate reports and analyze HR metrics to support business decisions
  • Support ad hoc HR initiatives and projects aligned with business objectives
  • Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities and events
  • Partner with operations leadership to support workforce needs in a manufacturing environment
