Requirements

  • Three to five years of similar or related experience.
  • A bachelor's degree or achieve of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with ADP payroll processing desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Processes semi-monthly payroll and payroll adjustments; performs incentive and overtime calculations; audits payroll reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinates recruitment of employees. Places job ads; screens candidates and conducts initial phone interview; coordinates face-to-face interview with Managers; prepares interview packets. Conducts pre-employment screens including criminal background, credit check, bondability check, OFAC check, and reference checks.
  • Organizes and participates in the new hire orientation process; reviews handbook and benefits; assists new employees with completion of paperwork.
  • Enters new employee data into HRIS. Adds benefit plans to eligible employees and notifies carriers. Maintains personnel, payroll, and benefit files for employees.
  • Prepares termination paperwork. Notifies insurance carriers and COBRA administrator.
  • Reconciles medical, dental, voluntary life, vision, and Aflac bills on a monthly basis. Notifies carriers of any discrepancies.

  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.
