About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and employee-focused HR Generalist to support day-to-day human resources operations. This role will be responsible for processing payroll through ADP, supporting employee benefits inquiries, and support onboarding activities to ensure a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate will have strong HR fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in HR, with some payroll experience
  • Proficient in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with HRIS Systems; ADP WFN experience and or SAP Is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now
  • Ensure accuracy of employee data, including new hires, terminations, and changes to compensation or benefits
  • Review and reconcile payroll reports; investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate payroll postings
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee benefits inquiries (health, dental, vision, 401(k), etc.)
  • Assist employees with benefit enrollment, changes, and open enrollment processes
  • Liaise with benefit providers and brokers to resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate benefits records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., ACA, COBRA)
  • Support benefits communication and education initiatives
  • Support new hire onboarding, including pre-employment documentation and orientation
  • Maintain employee records within HRIS systems ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality
  • Support employee lifecycle activities including hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
  • Assist with audits, reporting, and documentation as needed
  • Respond to general employee questions regarding HR policies, payroll, benefits, and procedures
  • Promote a positive employee relations environment
  • Escalate complex employee issues to HR leadership as appropriate
