Perricone Juices is seeking a Human Resources (HR) Generalist to support operations at our Vero Beach, Florida manufacturing facility. The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting and executing daily HR functions for facility employees. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with federal and Florida employment laws, supporting operational leadership, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. In partnership with site leadership, the HR Generalist serves as a trusted resource for employee relations, talent acquisition, wage and hour compliance, attendance management, leave administration, safety initiatives, and employee training, while ensuring alignment with applicable Florida regulations. Position Summary: The HR Generalist supports the daily operations of the Human Resources department by assisting in the implementation and administration of HR services, policies, and programs. This role serves as a key resource for employees and managers, ensuring efficient HR processes while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and company standards.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of general business experience; HR experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) within a Windows environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience administering employee benefits and HR programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with effective problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience with database management and recordkeeping systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the efficient day-to-day operations of the HR department.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including processing status changes in a timely manner.
  • Ensure personnel files are maintained in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and assist with onboarding processes.
  • Prepare and distribute offer letters and new hire documentation.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and HR staff.
  • Review and screen resumes; manage applicant tracking and filing systems, retaining qualified applications per company policy.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including conducting benefit orientations and assisting with employee inquiries and claims resolution.
  • Maintain training records and assist in coordinating employee training initiatives.
  • Prepare reports and HR metrics for management as needed.
  • Support the implementation and tracking of company safety and health programs.
  • Collaborate with managers and supervisors to address HR-related matters.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources or CEO.
  • Comply with all applicable plant, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF standards.
  • Support and promote company food safety and quality initiatives.
