One morning, you may be welcoming a new employee and helping them get settled in, and later in the day, you could be assisting with benefits questions, updating employee records, or helping coordinate a company event. You’ll spend your day interacting with employees, managers, and leadership while helping create a workplace where people feel supported and valued. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, organization, and building relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Customer-service mindset and willingness to help others
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Organized and dependable
  • Comfortable communicating with others
  • Able to handle confidential information professionally
  • Willing to learn and grow in an HR career
  • A team player with a positive attitude

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with payroll software
  • Familiarity with Paylocity or QuickBooks
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with hiring and interviewing new team members
  • Helping new employees through onboarding and orientation
  • Supporting employee benefits and open enrollment
  • Maintaining employee records and HR systems
  • Assisting with payroll coordination and HR reports
  • Helping managers with employee questions and HR guidance
  • Supporting employee performance review processes
  • Assisting with employee events, wellness programs, and company initiatives
  • Helping maintain HR policies and procedures
  • Participating in special projects and team activities
  • Supporting a positive and inclusive workplace culture
