This position will play a key role in supporting our employees throughout the employment lifecycle, with a particular emphasis on benefits administration, employee support, and HR operations. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; or 2–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably with significant benefits administration responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of and experience with administering employee benefits and applicable employment practices and benefits regulations.
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, nonprofit, or other service-oriented organizations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Administer health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and other employee benefit programs.
  • Guide employees through benefits enrollment, qualifying life events, open enrollment, and benefit-related questions.
  • Build positive relationships with employees by providing responsive, knowledgeable, and compassionate HR service.
  • Coordinate benefits administration with insurance carriers, brokers, vendors, payroll, and HR leadership.
  • Maintain accurate employee and benefits information in the HRIS and other systems.
  • Support onboarding and ensure new employees receive timely and accurate information about their benefits and HR programs.
  • Assist with employee changes, leave administration, terminations, and other employment lifecycle processes.
  • Help ensure compliance with applicable employment and benefits laws and regulations.
  • Assist with benefits audits, reporting, required notices, and other compliance activities.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding policies, payroll, benefits, leave, and other HR matters or direct questions to the appropriate resource.
  • Support employee engagement, recognition, retention, and workplace culture initiatives.
  • Partner with managers and leadership to promote a positive, respectful, and employee-focused workplace.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling employee records and sensitive information.
  • Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
