About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Human Resources Generalist to support the daily operations of our HR department. Working as part of a small HR team, this role plays a key part in recruiting, employee support, compliance, and HR program administration. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys a variety of responsibilities and wants to make a meaningful impact across the employee lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in Human Resources
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems (HRIS)
  • Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with a good driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP)
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting and employee relations

Responsibilities

  • Lead recruitment efforts for key positions, including sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews
  • Support onboarding processes, including background checks and employment verifications
  • Administer HR programs such as benefits, leave of absence, and HRIS processes
  • Track and maintain compliance with required training, certifications, and licensure
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee and supervisor HR-related questions
  • Assist with employee relations matters, including performance concerns and workplace investigations
  • Collaborate with managers on job descriptions, hiring needs, and staffing strategies
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices
