Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field – equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Experience supporting HR functions such as employee relations and engagement, recruiting, training, or safety in a manufacturing or similar environment
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Ability to use standard business software tools to manage data and communication
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to build trust and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to listen and respond effectively
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally (up to 10%)
  • Legal Authorization to work in the US, sponsorship will not be provided

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Broader experience across multiple HR disciplines or increased depth in employee relations and talent acquisition
  • Familiarity with HR information systems such as Oracle or workforce management tools such as Kronos
  • Experience using HR data and metrics to inform decisions and improve outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted HR partner to employees and leaders, providing guidance on employee relations, coaching, conduct, and policy interpretation while ensuring fair and consistent practices
  • Investigate and resolve workplace concerns by gathering information, documenting findings, and recommending appropriate actions
  • Maintain a visible presence on the production floor to build relationships, address questions, and support an inclusive and engaged work environment
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for production and skilled trade roles, including pre-employment processes, while supporting compliance with employment laws and affirmative action goals
  • Partner with leaders and cross-functional teams, including Environmental Health & Safety, to support communication, safety initiatives, and a positive workplace culture
  • Support employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits guidance, engagement initiatives, and the Employee Opinion Survey process
  • Maintain accurate HR records, analyze and report HR metrics, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
