We’re looking for an HR Generalist who is passionate about creating a positive employee experience and enjoys balancing people support with operational excellence. As an HR Generalist, you’ll play a key role in supporting employees and helping drive HR operations across the organization. You’ll partner with leaders and team members to ensure a smooth, engaging, and compliant workplace experience.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience, including benefits administration, payroll support, employee relations, and recruiting
  • 3+ years of HRIS experience (Paylocity preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Ability to travel occasionally to our Bryan, OH location

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or aPHR certification
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted first point of contact for employee questions and HR support
  • Coordinate and lead new hire onboarding and orientation programs
  • Administer employee benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA/HSA, and leave programs
  • Educate employees on benefit options, enrollment, and HR policies
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data (Paylocity experience preferred)
  • Support payroll coordination, reporting, and employee data management
  • Prepare HR reports, audits, and compliance documentation
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
  • Support DOT compliance and customer-specific contract requirements
  • Assist with recruiting efforts including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication
  • Help coordinate employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, communications, and events
  • Support a collaborative, people-first culture across the organization
  • Perform additional HR and administrative duties as needed
