Requirements

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements
  • Multi-state HR experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Prior experience in human services, social services, nonprofit, or community-based organizations preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to leaders regarding onboarding, policy interpretation, and employee changes
  • Manage HRIS updates, employee records, terminations, and personnel changes
  • Oversee employee leave administration, including FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, disability, military leave, and unpaid leave
  • Partner with managers on employee relations matters, corrective action, and performance management
  • Review and manage unemployment compensation claims and hearing preparation
