About The Position

We are committed to creating meaningful change for children and families affected by autism, and we are looking for a Human Resources Generalist who shares that passion. In this role, you will be the go-to person to support our teams across multiple markets. From onboarding and employee engagement to compliance and employee relations, you will provide personalized HR support that strengthens our people operations and connects employees to our mission. This position is based On-Site in our Deerfield Beach, Florida office and reports to the Manager of Human Resources. Our families deserve the best, and that is why we hire the best. This role requires someone who is both analytical and tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and motivated to improve the way we use data and systems to support our people.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a multi-state environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust quickly.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HR systems such as Rippling, UKG, or comparable platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the HR contact for designated markets, allowing for personalized support.
  • Handle day-to-day employee relations matters (conflict resolution warrior), policy interpretation, disciplinary actions, separations, and minor grievances.
  • Support the performance review process, ensuring timely completion and assisting managers as needed.
  • Partner with the HR Director to design and implement employee engagement activities across all markets.
  • Act as a culture champion within your assigned regions, ensuring employees feel supported and connected.
  • Maintain and update the HR manual and standard operating procedures (SOPs) as needed.
  • Assist with headquarters onboarding for corporate and BCBA hires, including new hire orientation, seating charts, and FOB access.
  • Assist with employment verifications (VOEs) and compliance documentation (e.g., labor law posters, audit support).
