About The Position

Central State Hospital is seeking a full-time Human Resources Generalist. This position will primarily be working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM. Provides professional support in meeting the hospital’s recruitment needs. Schedules interviews with candidates and assists with conducting interviews. Performs reference checks for potential new hires and completes all required background checks as well as facilitates pre-hire drug screenings and onboarding. Provides professional support by alerting contractors of separation processes and staffing needs, if any. Provides employment verifications to outside inquirers. Provides support with onboarding and hiring processes for all CSH staff. Assists in HR portion of new hire orientation. Assists with the development and administration of programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company. Performs random audits of files to ensure accuracy in order to remain in compliance with all Joint Commission, Federal and State standards to include; classification, compensation, and annual training. Provides monthly, quarterly and annual reporting needed.
