Human Resources Director
About The Position
Coastal Harbor Health System is comprised of a 114-bed hospital for children and adolescents, providing both short- and long-term inpatient care, and a 50-bed inpatient hospital serving men and women, ages 18 and up. We offer compassionate patient care to those who need it the most, serving not only local patients, but also those located across the country. Our hospitals are conveniently located in beautiful, historic Savannah, GA in a quiet setting that provides unparalleled anonymity and privacy, enabling patients to concentrate on treatment. We are currently seeking a Human Resources Director to join our team. This position is responsible for executing Human Resource activities at the facility for all functional areas, (e.g., recruitment, employee relations, compensation, compliance, etc.) and serves as a professional resource for facility management on all HR related activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of Human Resources professional experience
- Previous supervisory/management experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
- Understanding of Federal and State employment laws and regulations related to HR.
- Working knowledge of administering wage/salary programs, benefits, workers compensation, recruiting/retention plans, training/staff development, and employee relations.
- Requires leadership, organizational, supervisory and administrative abilities including excellent computer skills and knowledge of various software, internet-based HR systems and email.
Nice To Haves
- Master's Degree preferred.
- Previous healthcare experience preferred.
- HR Certification (through HRCI or SHRM) preferred.
