About The Position

Grower Direct Farms is hiring a Human Resources Coordinator to support high-volume recruiting, onboarding, and HR operations for our greenhouse and field-based workforce. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role responsible for getting employees hired quickly, onboarded correctly, and supported throughout their employment. You will work directly for the Head of Human Resources and play a key role in maintaining efficient HR processes.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in HR coordination, recruiting, or onboarding
Current experience using ADP Workforce Now (or similar HRIS/payroll system)
Bilingual English/Spanish (required)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Experience supporting hourly, seasonal, or high-volume workforces
Background in agriculture, manufacturing, distribution, or field operations
Experience with training, onboarding programs, or safety initiatives

Responsibilities

Post jobs, screen applicants, and coordinate interviews
Conduct new hire onboarding and orientation
Prepare and process new hire documentation and personnel files
Ensure compliance with I-9 and onboarding requirements
Maintain accurate employee records in ADP Workforce Now
Answer employee and supervisor HR questions (policies, benefits, payroll support)
Assist with employee offboarding and termination processes
Support benefits enrollment during open enrollment
Lead safety-related administrative functions
Serve as primary contact for injury reporting and tracking
Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements
Assist payroll processing and coordination as needed
Support office operations during peak periods (phones, visitors, general admin tasks)
