We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Support Specialist to provide vital support to our HR department. This role involves assisting hiring managers and new hires with the application and onboarding process, ensuring adherence to the dealership’s personnel policies and procedures. Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of administrative and/or HR experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills (including listening, speaking).
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work alone, self-motivate and manage one’s own time.
  • Physical ability to use computer hardware/software.
  • Computer literate (MS Word, Advanced Excel, Outlook,)
  • Organized and extremely detail-oriented
  • Excellent time management and ability to shift priorities.
  • Ability to deal with highly sensitive and confidential information.
  • Must be able to work on-site/in-person full time. This is not a remote or hybrid position.

Responsibilities

  • Creates open positions in ATS and job boards.
  • Assists department managers in the hiring process and offer letters.
  • Assists pre-hires with pre-employment tasks.
  • Performs onboarding tasks in ATS, LMS and payroll systems.
  • Assists with coordinating and conducting new employee orientation while promoting a positive onboarding experience.
  • Maintains all employee personnel, medical and confidential related files.
  • Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
  • Processes new hires, promotions, transfers, terminations and any employment related information or documentation required by the government.
  • Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local employment and employee related laws.
  • Other duties as assigned.
