About The Position

Fast Specialties is looking for a motivated, knowledgeable, and driven Service Advisor to join our expanding team. Our operation is unlike almost anything else in the Pacific Northwest. We combine a high-performance speed shop and chassis dyno facility with the structure and volume of a modern dealership service department. One minute you may be writing up a basic maintenance service, and the next you could be coordinating an LS swap, supercharger installation, dyno tuning session, standalone ECU setup, or full custom performance build. We work on everything from classic muscle cars and street rods to modern performance vehicles, race cars, off-road builds, and custom fabrication projects.

  • Performance automotive knowledge is a major plus
  • Experience using CDK software a plus, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtains vehicle information.
  • Refers to service history, inspects vehicle, and recommends additional needed service.
  • Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
  • Checks on progress of repair throughout the day.
  • Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
  • Reviews repair orders to ensure that work is completed, and additional work and authorization is noted.
  • Closes repair order as appropriate.
  • Explains completed work and all charges to customers.
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction standards.
