About The Position

The Human Resources (HR) & Credentialing Coordinator will oversee the airport security credentialing and access control program. The incumbent facilitates in all phases of talent acquisition, supports HR operations and compliance, and administers the full lifecycle of airport identification media in accordance with TSA, airport authority, and federal regulatory requirements. Position requires availability across day, evening, overnight, and holiday shifts in support of 24/7 cargo operations. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies; proactive, self-directed, with strong time management and deadline orientation.
  • Familiarity with employment law, hiring best practices, and TSA regulations governing airport security (49 CFR Part 1542) and SIDA credentialing.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage confidential records and PII with discretion; proficient in ADP Workforce Manager, ATS platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must pass a 10-year background check, Criminal History Records Check (CHRC), Security Threat Assessment (STA), and pre-employment drug screening.
  • Must obtain and maintain all required airport security credentials, including a SIDA badge, for the assigned station.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Aviation Management, or related field; or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • 2+ years in airport credentialing or a closely related role preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates all phases of the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Assists in staffing requirements by partnering with managers to assess workforce needs and build diverse applicant pipelines through job boards, social media, colleges, and employment agencies.
  • Assists in scheduling, conducting interviews, and coordinating start dates.
  • Administer the Signatory/Certified Official role in the full lifecycle of airport security credentials: application intake, background check coordination, issuance, renewal, suspension, and revocation of SIDA, AOA, and Sterile Area badges.
  • Ensure all credentialing activities comply with 49 CFR Part 1542, TSA security directives, and local airport authority regulations; coordinate with TSA and airport authority on audits and access control.
  • Track badge expirations and coordinate renewals; reconcile internal badge inventory against the airport authority badging system; collect badges from separating employees per regulatory timelines.
  • Ensure all personnel complete required SIDA/AOA security training prior to credential issuance; maintain audit-ready records of all badging transactions and access authorization decisions.
  • Generate regular reports on badge inventory, expiring credentials, pending applications, and compliance status to station management and security leadership.
  • Support employee relations matters, HR investigations, and progressive discipline documentation as assigned.
  • Maintain HR records in ADP Workforce Manager; support HR reporting, compliance tracking, and audit preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws; recommend and implement policy updates; conduct training as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned in support of the HR department and broader organizational mission.
