Requirements

  • College degree with 2-3 years of related experience and/or similar experience/training preferred.
  • Experience in HR administration preferred.
  • High level of technical competency including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to learn new technology easily.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus; bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute the onboarding process for The Bushnell, Hartford Symphony Orchestra, and Warner Theatre, including ordering name badges and business cards, updating phone lists and organizational charts, and processing background checks.
  • Process enrollments, changes, and terminations for all benefit plans accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate leave programs and policies, tracking activity related to CT Paid Leave, FMLA, and COBRA.
  • Prepare COBRA letters for Warner Theatre.
  • Track Harassment Training completion for all venues and print completion certificates for personnel files.
  • Support various HR projects and assignments in collaboration with Bushnell staff.
  • Order and distribute annual Employment Law Posters for all venues.
  • Reconcile and process HR invoices.
  • Coordinate room reservations using the Momentus system.
  • Handle service calls and monitor office supply needs, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Identify and implement AI tools and emerging technologies to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, improve data analysis, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Process daily mail.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
