About The Position

The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator assists in supervising HR functions to include but not limited to: staffing, fair compensation practices, training, retention, associate relations, communications and legal compliance. Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers. The HR Coordinator will complete the full cycle recruiting process for hourly associates including compensation equity, ensure training completion/monitoring for non-exempt associates, and process benefit actions, pay increases, and associate reviews for hourly associates. They will also monitor retention and complete exit interviews for hourly associates, maintain confidentiality with all sensitive information, and perform filing, copying, and other administrative duties as needed. Additionally, this role assists with planning and implementing associate recognition and other activities, helps execute all HR related policies, practices, and direction from the company, and maintains compliance and record keeping (legal posters, notices etc.). The position provides guidance and support for performance management, the annual review process, and succession planning for hourly associates, and maintains an open door policy in the store. They will respond to and resolve first-level associate relation issues, partnering with the Sr. HRM for guidance on these and all other associate relation issues. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum degree required: High School education or 1-2 years administrative/office experience
  • HR experience desired
  • Ability to calculate figures, interpret and analyze data from reports
  • Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers

  • Responds and resolves first level associate relation issues (partners with Sr. HRM for guidance on these and all other associate relation issues).
