Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in a Human Resources support or coordination role.
  • Strong written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Requires keen attention to detail, sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism when handling sensitive matters.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HRIS systems, industry-standard technologies and cloud services and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Proficient with Human Resources Information systems (HRIS), including BambooHR or similar platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of integrity and personal accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with job postings on various platforms and websites.
  • Screen resumes and applications and schedule interviews.
  • Coordinate and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings as needed.
  • Coordinate, attend, represent, and promote FNCIAS at career fairs and community events.
  • Assist with onboarding of new hires (office/desk set up, computer set up, new hire orientation materials, etc).
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
  • Support employees in benefit enrollment and inquiries.
  • Assist in the coordination of benefits administration.
  • Respond to general HR inquiries and maintain accurate, confidential employee records and files.
  • Help with the preparation of HR reports and data analysis.
  • Ensure priorities and deadlines are met, and that correspondence is handled accurately, professionally, and confidentially.
  • Address employee inquiries and issues with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Assist in HR Policy and procedure updates and implementation.
  • Support in the administration of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
  • Provides vacation cover-off for administrative roles.
  • Other duties as assigned.
