Position Summary We are currently seeking an HR Coordinator (6-month contract) to support our Human Resources team at our head office in St-Laurent, Montréal. This role plays a key part in supporting recruitment activities, onboarding, HR administration, and employee inquiries. It is an excellent opportunity for someone with an administrative or HR background — including internships or early career experience — who is looking to gain hands-on exposure within a structured, professional HR environment. The position follows a hybrid schedule (3 days in office), with occasional flexibility to support activities at our Delson location.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of related HR or administrative experience.
  • Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written) — required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HRIS systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Post open positions, review resumes, and schedule interviews.
  • Conduct pre-screen interviews to identify qualified candidates.
  • Prepare hiring documentation and coordinate onboarding activities.
  • Plan and deliver new hire orientations to support a seamless integration.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS.
  • Generate reports (EEO, surveys, exit data, etc.) as required.
  • Process employment verifications according to company policies.
  • Prepare employee separation documentation and conduct exit interviews.
  • Track employee leaves, short-term disability (STD), and related follow-ups.
  • Ensure all employee changes are accurately documented.
  • Act as a point of contact for head office employees.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding benefits (health, dental, life insurance), RRSP, ESPP, EAP, and HR systems.
  • Maintain accurate files and perform general administrative tasks.
  • Assist with HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Support additional departmental needs as required.
