About The Position

The Human Resources – Recruiting & Training Coordinator is responsible for supporting a variety of responsibilities within the department including, but not limited to, recruiting, training and record keeping. This position will be the first impression to associates when they come into the Human Resources office. This is a Full Time position with a pay range of $19-22, based on experience, located at Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one-year Human Resource experience or administrative work required preferred.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Strong computer skills. Highly proficient in Microsoft products; Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Microsoft Teams experience desirable.
  • HR systems and graphic design apps (Canva experience desired).
  • Spanish speaking preferred.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain training materials and standards, checklists, schedules, and other materials for departments across the property.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed training, attendance, required certifications, and communicate outstanding training requirements to appropriate managers.
  • Assist with facilitation of training classes such as Orientation and other property-wide classes.
  • Coordinate logistics for new-hire orientation and training classes, including scheduling, attendance tracking, communications, preparation of materials, and occasional facilitation.
  • Coordinate administrative activities associated with the new-hire onboarding process, including preparation and collection of required employment documentation, Form I-9 processing, drug testing, background checks, and other required pre-employment steps.
  • Provide timely, professional, and service-oriented support to associates, candidates, new hires, managers, visitors, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide support to the recruiting team in creating recruiting materials, screening candidates, promoting our referral program and communicating with candidates.
  • Assist with Human Resources committees and project teams, including the Safety Committee, CARE Committee, Hometown Hospitality, and other property initiatives.
  • Support special projects and process-improvement activities within the HR department.
